Our Schurr High School counseling department has embraced a shared leadership approach in developing a results-based, comprehensive guidance program that reaches out to all students in grades 9-12.  Our main objective is to ensure that all students have access to support for academic, career, and personal/social development.  We are following the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model, which includes a guide to the following systemic areas:  foundation, management system, delivery system and accountability.  All of our school counselors are providing services in individual planning, responsive services, guidance curriculum and system support.
