Social Studies
Students are required to complete for graduation:
- 10 credits or one year of World History,
- 10 credits or one year of US History,
- Economics, and
- US Government
Both World History and US History are year long courses, while Economics and US Government are semester courses. Courses comply with Common Core State Standards in addition to being A-G
- CSU/UC one year of US History OR one semester of US History, and one semester of American Government AND
- CSU: 1 year of history/social science from either A or G subject area
- UC: 1 year of world history
