Cal State Universities

There are 23 California State Colleges.  The Cal State University requirements  are generally to complete the A-G requirements. Many CSU degrees are available. Due to high enrollment certain schools/majors are "impacted" meaning a student needs to have higher than minimum requirements to be admitted, sometimes significantly so. The  CSU Impaction Matrix  shows which majors and schools are impacted. A 2.5 GPA in A-G courses during 10th-11th grade is required for non-impacted schools/majors. A 2.6+ GPA is required for Cal State LA as our local CSU campus. Impacted majors/Cal State Universities are competitive ex. CSU Fullerton, or Nursing at all campuses, require as high as possible of a GPA and rigor in classes.
