All UC and CSU campuses, and a majority of independent colleges and universities from the AICCU, will participate.
All events are free, and all California students are encouraged to attend! While fairs are scheduled in regions, students can attend any date that is best for them.
Students and counselors can register by visiting CACollegeFairs.org and creating an account on Visit Days. The fairs are scheduled for:

Private Colleges: You can apply to most private colleges via Common App
Download a Brag sheet for Common App.
Counselor Recommendation Prompt You can get a counselor recommendation either from me, Mr. Mejia or your alpha counselor. My email is: firstname.lastname@example.org
Put some thought into the recommendation prompt as it will help the counselor or myself write a better recommendation.
Common App Powerpoint
UC/CSU application fee waivers are inside the application itself. The UC application asks your family income early in the application and has popup that tells you if you qualify for the 4 free applications. The CSU application does the same, but at the end after you have selected the school you want to apply to.
Private colleges through Common App will grant a fee waiver if you request one (need to qualify for free or reduced lunch)
College Career Search & College Applications
Californiacolleges.edu is a good site (CCCApply, Cal State Apply, FAFSA/CADAA)
Recommendation: Think of what career you want to go into, and find what education you need to get your dream job. If you are not sure, that is ok.
Private colleges range from easy to very difficult admissions. Many private colleges offer need based financial aid that can be very competitive or even lower out the door prices than UC's or CSU.
Once a month, up to 60 high school students from underserved areas of Los Angeles join volunteers from the Primary Care Physician Assistant Program at Keck School of Medicine of USC for the Pipeline Program. Students are introduced to a wide range of health professions while attending workshops and practicing clinical skills. Topics include neurology, anatomy and physiology, nutrition, first-aid and more. Exposing the students to the opportunities in the health care field, Pipeline strives to inspire and guide them to attain their future careers.
FairOpportunityX, a joint project between Harvard's LabXchange and Fair Opportunity Project to help high school students navigate the US college application and financial aid process through a free online college access course, interactive videos, written reflections, and much more
